Charlie Adam charged by FA following Olivier Giroud incident

Stoke City's Charlie Adam has been charged with violent conduct by the Football Association.

Adam, 28, appeared to tread on Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud's lower leg in his side's 1-0 Premier League victory.

Saturday's incident was not seen by match officials but captured on video.
